Squishy food pouches, you see them everywhere you go these days, and really, why wouldn’t you? They are super convenient and kids enjoy using them, plus they are a generally healthy snack option. But what about the waste… there is a great deal of waste that comes along with these great convenience foods. Luckily, more and more companies are now stepping up to the plate and offering solutions to the problem. A while ago, I discovered BooginHead and their great line of reusable products including Squeez’Ems, which are amazing reusable squishy packs!

Some of the features of these particular reusable food pouches that make them stand out amongst the others include the fact that they are a one-piece system. This means that you will never have to worry about losing the lid! Also, these reusable food pouches are free standing units so you don’t have to battle to fill them. More often than not, I will be filling these while holding the baby and even one handed, I have no issues filling them up with little to no mess! The BooginHead Squeez’Ems reusable food pouches are BPA, PVC and Phthalate free. They are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe so you can use them for hot and cold products and then toss them in the dishwasher for a quick clean up! It is also very quick and convenient to hand wash these thanks to the formed top, I can quite easily get a bottle brush in to give it a good scrub!

Perfect for travel or even just around the house, we mostly use the reusable food pouches for things like yogurt or applesauce, but they would easily accommodate any pureed food. In the warmer months, I will fill them the night before and toss them in the freezer to serve a dual purpose and act as ice packs for before the kids gobble up whatever is inside of them. The packaging isn’t overly babyish so even my 11-year-old doesn’t mind using them and even he appreciates the convenience these pouches have to offer.
Perhaps one of the things I love the most about the BooginHead Squeez’Ems reusable food pouches is that they are so affordable. A 2-pack will cost you less than $8, and they are quite durable so that money will take you a long way.
